When repair becomes replacement
Brittle or deteriorated surrounding shingles, widespread damage and repeated leaks can change the decision. Compare a limited repair with the longer-term scope.
Prepare useful information
Share photos taken safely from the ground, the timing of leaks and any previous repairs. Do not climb onto a damaged or wet roof to gather details.
