Fiber cement and factory finishes
James Hardie offers lap siding, panels, shingles and trim. Its Statement Collection provides factory-finished color options. Confirm the product, texture and local color availability using a physical sample.
Vinyl and composite options
Alside offers vinyl siding and ASCEND composite cladding. Compare profile dimensions, texture, trim components and local color choices. Use the manufacturer’s current technical information when selecting the assembly.
Weather protection behind the siding
Include sheathing assessment, weather-resistant barriers, flashing at openings and transitions, and drainage details in the scope. The finished siding is only one part of the exterior wall.
Trim makes the composition
Plan window surrounds, corner boards, fascia, soffits and gutter coordination. A restrained trim palette can connect existing masonry and windows with a new siding color.
Replacing sections or the whole exterior
Small repairs depend on matching the existing profile and weathered finish. Whole-house replacement gives more flexibility but requires clear decisions about demolition, wall repairs, trim and site protection.

How is the final price established?

Can the project be completed in stages?
Discuss dependencies before splitting work into phases. Roofing, siding, windows and additions may share transitions; interior projects may share mechanical work.
